At the designated time, we'll meet up in front of the Marina Arcadas building to start our brilliant bicycle tour of Vilamoura. During the 12-mile-long route, we'll pedal through this beautiful town discovering its many charms and hidden treasures.
First, we'll head to the leisure port, where we'll enjoy views of the coastline and admire the many yachts that moor at this pier.
Then, we'll cycle through the city center and cross the Quarteira River to visit the Vilamoura Environmental Park: a 200-hectare site that is home to different ecosystems, including wetlands. Here, you'll learn all about the different species of birds that usually fly over this area of the Algarve.
Next, we'll cycle back to the coast to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Vilamoura. Then we'll stop to rest and taste a traditional local sweet before we continue pedaling again.
The bike tour concludes back at the original starting point after a total of 3 hours.
