On this guided tour of the Higienópolis neighborhood, you'll discover one of the districts that best represents 20th-century architecture in São Paulo.
Welcome to one of São Paulo's most artistic neighborhoods! After meeting at the designated time at the Pátio Higienópolis shopping center, we'll kick off this guided tour through the history, art, and architecture in an urban setting that symbolizes the modernity and luxury of the city.
We'll start at Vila Panteado, an Art Noveau-style residence, before continuing toward the mansion Palacete Veridiana da Silva Prado, which was built on Avenue 18 in Higienópolis. As you admire the extravagant facade of these buildings, we'll tell you about this illustrious monument and its contribution to São Paulo.
Next, we'll reach the Louveira Building, in front of Vilaboim, where you can marvel at the 20th-century architecture. Then, we'll go to the Prudência, designed by Rino Levi, and the Cinderella Building to discover the most fascinating traits of Brazil's architectural evolution. We'll stroll along the picturesque Calle Piauí and see the residential building of the same name. Cameras at the ready? You'll love taking pictures of its facade!
Afterward, we'll head to Buenos Aires Park and visit the Instituto Artium, located in the heart of the neighborhood, a prime example of contemporary architecture. Here, we'll go on a tour to learn about its art gallery and its mission of preserving Higienópolis' artistic legacy.
Finally, we'll return to Pátio Higienópolis, where we'll wrap up this guided tour 4 hours after we've started.
You can book up to 3 days in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
