You'll also have access to 15 themed areas designed for each animal species, with their proper habitat, climate, light conditions, and humidity. Incredible!
From the warmth and humidity of the Jungle to the cold Polar Ecosystem, to the fascinating African Forest and Temperate Forest. During this visit, you'll observe species like manatees, macaws, penguins, and lemurs. Each corner of Faunia will amaze you!
The Jungle will welcome you with tropical species of plants and wildlife. Manatees, macaws, toucans, and various species of marmosets will accompany you during this stretch.
In the Polar Ecosystem, we'll travel to one of the most remote areas of the Antarctic, where you'll be able to see over 100 penguins from 6 different species. If you're in the mood to explore the jungle, you can also venture into the African Forest, which recreates the island of Madagascar. Colorful birds and lemurs will watch you from the treetops - the most exotic visit!
You can also check out the Temperate Forest, an impressive region that hosts a great variety of animals from the world's most temperate climates. Here, you'll encounter the muntjac, the brocket deer, and the elegant demoiselle crane. Have you ever wondered what it's like to be in perfect weather? In this area, you’ll experience it.
At the Pinnipedium exhibit, you’ll enjoy Guardians of the Ocean and Mission Pinnipeds, Faunia’s new exhibit that transforms your visit into an exciting, educational, and interactive experience for the whole family. Through this exhibit, you’ll learn to distinguish between the different species of marine mammals, discover their amazing adaptations, and understand the important role they play in ocean ecosystems.
As well as its main ecosystems, you'll have the chance to explore the enigmatic Noctorum, illuminated by the light of the full moon, where you'll see fascinating animals like the ocelot, the two-toed sloth, and the aardvark. As if that weren’t enough, you can explore a mangrove with impressive Nile crocodiles and see snakes, spiders, and jellyfish. You'll keep spotting animals at each step you take!
Halloween at Faunia
On Saturdays and Sundays from October 3 to November 1, 2026, plus the October 12 and November 2, 2026 holidays, Faunia comes alive with a spooky Halloween atmosphere.
This season is the perfect time to keep learning in all kinds of ways:
- The most venomous animals, like snakes, tarantulas, and Komodo dragons, along with Faunia's most mysterious residents, like lemurs and bats, take center stage.
- There will be special themed talks where an educator will explain the main threats facing our planet and how we can all help take care of it. You'll get a brochure with the talk schedule when you get your ticket.
Plus, on every day with special Halloween activities, you can meet Enigma, the beloved Superthings character, and snap a photo with him, completely free!

Faunia also plays a significant role in raising awareness and promoting conservation, collaborating with organizations such as the Parques Reunidos Foundation and EAZA.
