Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet up next to Nishi Kamiyacho Station to find out how World War II came to an end in Japan on this guided tour of Hiroshima.

First, we'll head towards the Hiroshima Peace Museum, where we'll relive some of the most tragic moments of modern history. We'll discover the horrors caused by the atomic bombing of August 1945 and learn how the people of this place managed to recover from this catastrophe.

After visiting the exhibition, we'll go to the Orizuru tower, the iconic symbol of the city. From the observation deck, we'll enjoy perfect panoramic views of Hiroshima and the Peace Memorial Park. We'll also see the magnificent castle and the beautiful island of Miyajima.

Then, we'll pause to regain our strength with a lunch that includes a delicious dish and a drink. Afterward, we'll head to the Genbaku Dome known as the Hiroshima Peace Monument. This elegant structure is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its great historical value. Our guide will reveal all the details behind it.

Finally, we'll conclude the guided tour by returning to the original starting point after 4.5 hours of history and reflection.
