If you're a nature enthusiast or passionate about mountain hiking, this hiking tour through the Covão dos Conchos is perfect for enjoying your time in Portugal!
Meet us at Praça Luís de Camões Square to kick off our hiking adventure into Covão dos Conchos. Are you up for the challenge? Let's go!
We'll head to Lagoa Comprida, a spectacular reservoir in the surrounding Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Did you know the latter is one of Portugal's largest mountain ranges?
From there, we'll start our route on foot, approximately 4.3 kilometers (2.6 miles), where we'll reach Covão dos Conchos. We'll explore the secrets tucked away in this little spot in the middle of the lake, where gallons of water drop daily.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point and bring our hike to an end, between 4 to 5 hours later.
