Join our tour as we delve into the historical Chacarita Cemetery. Here, we'll pay our respects to the tombs of illustrious figures like Perón, Carlos Gardel, and others.
Our journey through the Chacarita Cemetery's history will commence as we meet just in front of the cemetery's main entrance.
We'll begin with a visit to the pantheon of the Asociación Española de Socorros Mutuos, a faithful replica of the Spanish monastery of El Escorial. Following that, we'll pay our respects at the mausoleums of notable individuals like the aviator Jorge Newbery, the criminalist José Gregorio Rossi, and the physician Adolfo Argerich.
A significant highlight of our tour will be our visit to the tomb of Carlos Gardel, the legendary Argentine tango singer whose life tragically ended in a plane crash in Medellin on June 24, 1935.
Continuing, we'll delve into the history of the Chacarita Cemetery's ossuary. Additionally, we'll have the chance to view a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta sculpture and visit the final resting places of musician Gustavo Cerati and guitarist José Betinotti. Along the way, we'll admire the captivating funerary architecture found at the pantheons of the Military Army and the Galician Center.
As our tour nears its end, we'll delve into the mysteries and legends surrounding a haunting sculpture of death. After this captivating two-hour journey, we'll wrap up our tour of the Chacarita cemetery in front of the Perón family pantheon, unveiling a chilling tale to conclude our exploration.
You can book up to 30 minutes in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
