It was okay. Based on the reviews I read, I had higher expectations and was a little disappointed. The final tasting consisted of chocolate candies.

Beautiful and very interesting museum, but it lacks a certain human touch. The presentation of the recipes is a bit rushed.

Bruges Choco Story Museum Ticket

Choco Story is the Chocolate Museum of Bruges, which, like every Belgian city, takes special care of cocoa products.

The museum was founded in 2004 by the Van Lierde-Draps family, who have excelled for generations in the noble art of chocolate-making. Their love for this delicious product has led them to collect countless jars, kitchen utensils and many other objects related to the "sweet gold".

During your visit to the Choco Story of Bruges you'll also learn about the history of chocolate, from its use by the Mayan and Aztec cultures to its later use in Europe, where its consumption became popular among the upper classes at a dizzying rate.

But not all will be history! Your ticket to the museum includes a live demonstration with a master chocolatier, who'll teach you how to make delicious chocolates, pralines and other outstanding traditional Belgian confectionery.

Of course, you'll be able to taste a range of products made with chocolate. You'll discover some irresistible varieties!

Opening hours

The Choco Story Museum in Bruges is open from Monday to Sunday at the following times:

July and August: from 10 am to 6 pm.
